Mechrogeddon Technical Document

Character – Mechrogeddon | Tank

A large mech made of high-tech Omni scrap, held together by a mysterious entity possessing its disparate parts. Stylistically the character would have an almost comically over-the-top evilness (think Veigar from League of Legends), but the subtext is that the creature controlling the mech (and keeping it animated) is actually some dangerous eldritch being stuck in a mechs body.

Ability 1 – Scrap Drill

A drill of warped and sharpened metal, holding the ability drains fuel and deals constant damage to enemies directly in front of Mechrogeddon. Fuel will function as ammunition.

Ability 2 – Omnicles

Summon tentacles of scrap which burst from the ground, referred to as Omnicles. These Omnicles will periodically slam enemy heroes near them when they are being attacked by Mechrogeddon

These tentacles can be destroyed by the enemy team.

Ability 3 – Omnicle Grip

Mechrogeddon directs his Omnicles to grab a targeted enemy hero, rooting them. This root duration is increased for each Omnicle in range. Enemy heroes can kill the Omnicles to end the root early, each Omnicle killed cuts down the remaining root duration by a percentage proportional to how many were involved in the original rooting (Ie. If 3 Omnicles root an enemy, killing an Omnicle reduces remaining root time by 33%, if 2 Omnicles root an enemy, killing one results in a 50% reduction).

Ability 4 – Omnicle Armor

Mechrogeddon cannibalizes currently spawned Omnicles, granting him bonus armor and health based on the total health of the Omnicles consumed. (Maybe slow him down as well?)

Ability 5 – Omniwall

Mechrogeddon commands 2 of his Omnicles to link together, preventing any heroes from passing through them. Wall health is equal to the health of the lowest health Omnicle involved in its making. Once destroyed, destroy the lowest health Omnicle involved.

Ability 5 – MechroMarch (Ultimate)

Mechrogeddon extends his drill in front of him, marching at a slightly increased speed (not too fast, should feel like a lumbering giant running forward). Any enemies he hits with his drill are knocked to the side. At the end of the march, Mechrogeddon slams his drill into the ground, spawning 3 Omnicles equidistantly around him.
